Activities

Assist-Personal Activities is one of the services that YH Support Services offers to people with disabilities. This service is designed to support Participants in carrying out daily activities that they may need assistance with, such as personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasks.

Our Assist-Personal Activities services include:

• Assisting with personal care: We provide support with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Our Direct Support Workers are trained to provide care in a respectful and dignified manner, and always work closely with Participants to ensure that their needs are met.
• Supporting with meal preparation: We assist Participants with meal preparation, including grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning up. Our Direct Support Workers can provide support with meal planning, cooking and budgeting.
• Helping with domestic tasks: We provide assistance with domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and ironing. Our Direct Support Workers can also teach Participants the skills to do these tasks independently.
• Supporting with medication management: We can assist Participants with medication management, including reminding them when to take their medication, helping them to understand the instructions, and ensuring that they have the necessary medication on hand.
• Providing ongoing support and review: We provide ongoing support and review of Participants’ progress, and make any necessary adjustments to their support plan as needed.

At YH Support Services, we understand that carrying out daily activities can be challenging for people with disabilities. That’s why we are committed to providing high-quality Assist-Personal Activities services that support Participants in carrying out these activities. Our services are tailored to each Participants needs, and are provided in a person-centred way, working closely with Participants, their support networks, and other stakeholders to ensure that our services meet their individual needs. We also have a robust Business System to store our Participants information and it safely and securely can be retrieved safely when required. Privacy and confidentiality are paramount to YH Support Services. All our Staff are compliant with the NDIS requirements and haven through the checking and verification process.
